One Pan Ground Turkey, Sweet potato, Peppers & Egg Breakfast Skillet


Ah, weekend mornings. The perfect time to enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast! This is one of my go-to recipes for a quick, delicious way to start the day. It’s also a recipe that I likely have all ingredients on-hand! And because it’s a one-skillet dinner, cleanup is a breeze- something especially important for those lazy weekend mornings.




1 pound ground turkey

2 tbsp. breakfast seasoning

1 green pepper, diced

2 sweet potatoes, cubed

4 eggs

Red pepper flakes (optional)


  1. Sautee green peppers until tender. Season ground turkey with breakfast seasoning and add to skillet. Cook until browned.
  2. Add potatoes to skillet, cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
  3. Make four openings in the pan and crack eggs into openings. Cook eggs to your own preference.
  4. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
